Back to Hale

Join us Sunday, September 13th 2009 for the sixth annual Hale Triathlon! Each year this event raises money to make sure more and more children and families are able to enjoy programs at Hale Reservation. The adult and youth races will be back. There will be free weekday-night triathlon training for adults throughout the summer.

New!  This year there are THREE races:
We still have the adult off-road triathlon and the 'Youth Junior' triathlon. But so many of our former kid triathletes want to keep doing it that we have added a third youth race in 2009.  The 'Youth Junior' race will be for ages 6-9 and the 'Youth Senior' race will be for 10-15.  Age 16 and up do the Adult race.  These three races are all held at the same event on the same day at Hale Reservation which spans Westwood and Dover Massachusetts.

Changes to the Adult tri in 2009:
  1. A separate starting wave for Elite/Advanced triathletes. If you are an elite please choose 'elite' as your Division when registering (instead of Age-grouper, Athena, etc.)
  2. For those of you who have done the race before we have changed the bike route to add to your experience.  The new route does not have a double loop and has some great opportunities for passing while out on the trails.
